2010 Scholarship Recipient Childress Awarded Memorial Scholarship
Jordan Childress and Sue Counts
Recent Haysi High School graduate Jordan Childress is the tenth recipient of the Haysi High School Class of '61 Memorial Scholarship. The $530 award certificate was presented to Mr. Childress at the 2010 Haysi High School Awards Program by Sue Counts, a member of the Haysi High School Class of 1961. Mr. Childress, son of Gilmer and Charlotte Childress of Haysi, plans to attend University of VA – Wise and major in Communications.
