2008 Scholarship Recipient Bailey Awarded Memorial Scholarship
Geneva Bailey and Sue Counts
Recent Haysi High School graduate Geneva Bailey is the seventh recipient of the Haysi High School Class of '61 Memorial Scholarship. The $470 award certificate was presented to Ms. Bailey at the 2008 Haysi High School Awards Program by Sue Counts, a member of the Haysi High School Class of 1961. Ms. Bailey is the daughter of James and Sandra Bailey of the Bartlick Community. Ms. Bailey plans to attend the University of Virginia at Wise and major in Communications.
